For Assassin's Creed, Kyd has composed a unique thematic score that combines epic orchestral compositions with acoustic, percussion and vocal performances - including Moslem, Christian and other Western styles - delivered with a deeply spiritual aesthetic and Hollywood cinematic flair.

Each setting in the game has its own theme and distinct musical identity, ranging from the tragedy stricken, ruined Christian city of Acre to the proud Moslem stronghold of Damascus and the powerfully spiritual and multicultural capital of Jerusalem.
